“There ain't no clean way to make a hundred million bucks... Somewhere along the line guys got pushed to the wall, nice little businesses got the ground cut out from under them... Decent people lost their jobs... Big money is big power and big power gets used wrong. It's the system.”

Trump treasury pick Mnuchin misled Senate on foreclosures, Ohio cases show
Carla Duncan waged a five-year battle to keep her Cleveland Heights home after OneWest, a bank that was under the control of Steve Mnuchin, tried to foreclose on it. She was not behind on her mortgage.

President Donald Trump's nominee for U.S. Treasury secretary was untruthful (that sounds so pus*y; he lied damnit) with the Senate during the confirmation process, documents uncovered by The Dispatch show.
"OneWest Bank did not 'Robo-sign' documents," Mnuchin wrote in response to questions from individual senators, "and as the only bank to successfully complete the Independent Foreclosure Review required by federal banking regulators to investigate allegations of 'Robo-signing,' I am proud of our institution's extremely low error rate." (Yes, but that report was probably forged and Robo-signed)
